The Association has been firmly established on democratic principles. The constitution and rules (see below), together with the tenancy agreement which members sign on joining, were agreed at the first AGM of the Association held in 2009. These provide for a committee to be elected each year with the responsibility of day to day management, but all major decisions about improving the site or changing the rules must be referred back to the full membership. This is set out in detail in the constitution.

 

The Tenancy Agreement together with the Allotment Rules set out the responsibilities of the Association and the tenant. We have tried to keep these rules to the minimum necessary for the sensible and efficient operation of the site.
